    Default Good afternoon Friday

I've got next week off, so once the children had gone home yesterday I packed everything away, knowing I wouldn't have to get it all out again on Monday morning (well, Tuesday as it's Bank Holiday!). It was a lovely feeling!

The weather has been lovely again today. I pottered round in the garden a bit this morning, half-heartedly tidying a few bits. Really, I just wanted an excuse to be out in the sun This afternoon I've caught up on some paperwork and sent some emails so I shouldn't have to do anything work related while I'm off next week.

Once DH is ready we're going to go and do a food shop. I was going to get BBQ food in and have the family round over the weekend, but one of my sons has told me the weather is supposed to be miserable again, so now I don't know if I will. I don't want a fridge full of burgers if no one is going to come and eat them!

Have you all got nice plans for the Bank Holiday weekend?

Enjoy your week off Mouse! I have 4 very busy days next week with my usual little ones plus the older ones.

I am looking forward to spending the weekend with my eldest who is coming home for the weekend first time since September. The weather is looking bright and sunny but not particularly warm still only about 14 degrees.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

Happy Bank Holiday and half term!

I don't usually work this half-term as DD usually has a dance competition, so it feels a bit odd! I've got the majority of my little ones and then a couple of schoolies for a couple of days. Got some plans, but depends on the weather as usual!

Busy weekend ... I've got my 2nd Jab this afternoon as I got a call to say they had space, so would I like to move it forward ! Hope I'm OK after it, as DD has a party at home for birthday tonight! In the garden! So we're getting ready for that all day. Tomorrow DD is dancing, so it's a 100 plus mile round trip for the day ( DH might come too) and on Monday I intend to do nothing!

Enjoy seeing your eldest Pixie and have fun everyone xxx

You've all got lovely weekends planned - things must be heading back to normal!

Yesterday I told my mindee's mum about the new mindee starting. I was so nervous, but she was thrilled. I haven't told her about the other two who are hopefully starting as well. I'll wait until we have a contract.

We have a friend over last night and it was lovely. Our friend has separated from his long term partner over lockdown - they were one of the couples that you read about where being forced to spend so much time together during lockdown made them realise that they needed to separate. So, it was just him last night and not his girlfriend, who we all really liked, but it was still lovely. DH and the friend are off to find a pub today and DD and I are going into town to do some frivolous shopping and hopefully get a milkshake somewhere.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. x

I’m only working 1 and half days next week so have 3 days this weekend and four days off next. So hoping decent weather lasts
