    Default Good afternoon Thursday

How's everyone's day been so far?

We had a busy morning out and about. It was nice and sunny, but still a bit cold and windy. We were home for lunch, had a quick play outside then came indoors for story time and a sleep. They're still asleep now but starting to stir so will be up soon. That just gives us time for nappies, drink and a snack before home time.

Is everyone voting in local elections today? I will go later this evening. DH is having his second covid jab at 6.30 so we'll go for that, then to vote. I really don't know who I will vote for. We have very little choice in this area and I don't actually want to vote for any of them. I really can't make up my mind and probably won't until the very last minute. There's rarely a change in this area, so my vote means very little, but I still like to use it.

Did anyone watch Sewing Bee last night? I did like some of the outfits they made in the final round, but the transformation round still confuses me. None of the look wearable!

It's the last working day of the week for me, so as soon as the children have gone home, I'll pack away ready for the weekend. It's been a very short week!

Enjoy the rest of the day

    Afternoon!
We had a lovely walk to the pond and saw fluffy moorhen chicks ( or are they ducklings? ) Then met a lady with a friendly dog. We then walked through a field full of dandelions on our way to the library, the post office and to vote!

We were just voting for police commissioner or something, but I voted!

On our way home we had a mini 'hail' storm of marble sized chunks of snow! Very odd!

    Rain and hail all afternoon!

We managed a nice big walk as it was dry for the first time all week.

Yes, we'll vote later - DH also has his 2nd jab this evening.

We made a muddy farm activity this morning before going to the fields late morning. Practiced using scissors following a pattern.
Older child practiced using craft punches using leaves instead of paper such a nice effect.
    Finished for the week now.

    2nd vaccination tomorrow.

Have a good Friday and weekend.

These days seem to be coming round quicker and quicker!

It's been so cold here today we woke up to a frost. We had fun out in the garden the children made a dinosaur swamp but then it rained and everyone sad they were cold and wanted to go back inside.

We will be voting later too, we haven't heard much from any of our local councillors we normally get leaflets through the door etc.

Just been down to vote for London mayor. Weather was lovely here until just before afternoon school run. Then we had rain and hail. Just had my youngest grandson today. Spent a while this morning watching some horses in a local field. He absolutely adores horses and is fascinated by them. He would watch them for hours. Then we made up the farm and got all the horses out of the toy box. A nice calm peaceful day!
