Thanks Fussy. It's good to have it all clearly set out like that.

Let's hope they start giving us the tests to do at home as well

    Thanks Fussy.

I'm very confused over it all, but we'll get there.

And fingers crossed they can work out how to get tests to us childminders as well as all the PVIs! ..... probably once we don't actually need them!

    Thinking about children returning ...
8th March all children return to school, but only those whose parents are working/studying/attending medical appts or are critical/vulnerable are allowed to attend childminders etc .... so those over 5s whose parents are in hospitality, hairdressers etc are not allowed to attend as the parents can not work until 12th April? ... is that correct?

Ooh as I’ve only got one schoolie I have holiday time so hadn’t thought of that.
Well I suppose they are not working so would they need a Childminder? I don’t know the answer loocyloo . If they are paying to keep the space for them it’s unfair I think 🤷🏻*♀️

    I know! Really tricky!

It's a friend of mine; she asked and I didn't know!

I guess if the parent isn't working, then they don't need care, but sometimes the child/ family need a break/ something else! I used to have an only child whose mum didn't work, because she said she got to mix and 'have siblings' with me

Well then you really need the answer.Yes, I’ve had children just so they mix with other children but I don’t think at the moment you could have a child for that reason. If a parent wasn’t coping, struggling for some reason you may be able to.

You have to do what you thinks best if no answer available.
