    Default Good morning Monday

It's my first day back after my break and I'm pleased to say all the children were very happy to be back. Even the new starter who had only been a few times before.

It was a very cold start to the day but soon warmed up enough for us to get into the garden. One of the children fell over after we'd been out for about 15 minutes and wanted to come back indoors! I tried all sorts of distraction techniques, but she was having none of it and kept pulling me to the backdoor to come in! Luckily my daughter is here this week (she's my registered assistant) so I could send the toddler indoors with her.

We're now all back indoors and my DD is doing story time while I make lunch. It is handy having her here sometimes

I hope you're all having good days and it isn't too cold where you are.

    Good morning!

And I'm glad you're having a good day Mouse.

I've spent this morning doing 101 jobs online and am working my way through yet more of the online 1st aid!

Has anyone ever had flowers from 'bloom & wild' ? One of my mums has sent me some and they are beautiful. They came through the letter box, really carefully wrapped ( even individual flowers ) with instructions on how to care for them and display.

    Stay warm and safe everyone!

My little one turned up very grumpy and lasted an hour before going down to sleep.

I got on with a few jobs and now watching a bit of TV while he carries on napping.

    Have a good day everyone

How lovely loocyloo to get flowers from a parent!

My little one had an explosive nappy this morning which leaked onto his clothes. It wasn't quite the runs though, so I just sent mum a text to let her know, and that I might have to contact her later on, but he seems fine. Just napping now. We were going to make playdough but he has been so happy playing with all the cooking stuff and toy food, so we'll save that for tomorrow.

I've managed to peel some spuds and get them in the oven for tea while he was napping. Love it when I can make a start on tea earlier in the day.

My shark vacuum cleaner has just arrived! Cannot wait to stop dragging my Henry around.

Today has flown by .....We have been outside quite a lot even though its been quite cold, I had to make a drink to warm up whilst the children were happily running around.

Maza I have a Shark and I love it so hope you do too!

Looclyoo how lovely to get some flowers.

I feel like this is the last week of calmness before the Christmas madness kicks in next week, the children are already talking about their advent calendars they have at home and most of them have got their trees and decorations up. I need to write a plan of what activities I would like to do with the children as I always seem to run out of time plus I need to order some card for Christmas cards.

I have bloom and wild flowers every month. They are always lovely and last a good fortnight if you change the water and feed them. I used to have Freddie’s flowers too but I’ve just cancelled them as he keep sending bunches with lilies which I have requested not to have them and there’s not as many flowers in the box either
