    Default Good morning Friday

I was very surprised when I opened the curtains this morning and saw how foggy it was, but assumed it was from all the fireworks last night. Our grandson was here last night and we stood in the garden to watch them. He was a bit disappointed that we didn’t have any of our own and I remembered I had a packet of sparklers left from last year. I found the packet at the back of a cupboard. There was only one sparkler left and it was a bit bent, but it worked and he was happy with it

Today is my day off but I need to get some paperwork done this morning. This afternoon I’m going to relax and see if I can find a film to watch. It needs to be something easy to follow that I don’t really need to concentrate on because there’s a good chance I’ll fall asleep

Have good days everyone. Keep going - it’s nearly the weekend

Oooooh, let us know if you find anything decent to watch.

There weren't too many fireworks here last night. I was very happy for the dog across the road who is petrified of them. Ours can't make up his mind if he is scared or not - sometimes he is startled, other times he doesn't notice.

We're off for a walk shortly. I've already packed away some toys for the weekend. I used to do it on a Friday after the mindees have gone home, but now, we've had our play, we'll be out, back for lunch, sleep, then 'low mess' play will be how we will finish our week. I'm determined to not do as much 'out of hours' as I used to do. I'm doing bits of paperwork during the day whilst mindee is happily playing and it works for me and he is no worse off for it. Might not be possible always, especially when I hopefully get more mindees, but I'm making the most of it.

I was very pleasantly surprised about how few fireworks there were last night ... and a little sad for everyone, as it was a perfect firework night .. clear, still and cold!' I love fireworks.

I put away a pile of stuff this week, as I was fed up of all the dressing up drawers being emptied .... bags/purses/ jewellery/glasses/hats/scarves/builders& drs sets etc .... and it's been lovely .... am tempted to keep them away for longer! However .... currently in my garage and I don't want to keep them there! Not sure where else I could put them.
I aim to do my weeks paperwork/tidy up on a Friday afternoon, then school run and low mess from then in ... except one Mindee doesn't sleep now in the afternoon and requires talking to/with the whole time! Never used to, but I can't quite get as much done as I did!

Hope you find a good film. I want to watch the 'new' Blythe Spirit with Judy Dench .... but I have no idea where to find it! There was another film, but I can't remember what it was!

    Good afternoon

    It was cold this morning.

I only have after schoolies today so I have been into the cesspit of hell which is the boys bedroom and tidied it.

Other than that I haven't really got any plans apart from doing the washing which results from tidying the fore mentioned bedroom

We had load of fireworks a neighbour has a bonfire strangely our dogs are not bothered at all and luckily it seems our dog is now on the mend after bring ill
