    Default Happy Halloween!

    Hello!

hope everyone has a good day and doesn't get toooooo scared!

what plans does anyone have? Or did anyone do anything 'spooky' over the weekend? Some friends went to 'fright night' and were scared silly

I'm not working, and my own children don't seem to bothered this year ( although DD is wearing spiderweb tights for dancing! ) so I think Halloween is going to pass me by! especially, as we're all out tonight anyway

    Good morning!

We don't really do much for halloween. We went pumpkin picking before half term so carved them last week. The children are all aged 2 and under and they helped me scoop out the middles, I carved the faces and they painted them using glow in the dark paint.

Today we'll read Room on the Broom and they can dig for the plastic spiders I've buried in the sand table.

I've got sweets in ready for any trick or treaters who call tonight, although last year we had very few calling. I realised afterwards that I hadn't put a lit pumpkin in the window, so that probably explained it!

We carved pumpkins this morning but I'm not feeling it this year. I usually put up some decorations and get a few spooks foodbits for the mindees but haven't done any this year. We had quite a few trick or treaters tonight though. My grandson is living here at the moment and everytime the bell rang he rushed to the door. When the callers took their sweets, he wanted some too. So he was quite hyped up before bed. Bless him
