    Default it's the weekend!

Is it just me, or do these weekends seem to be coming round faster and faster? !

Having a quiet one with lots of sewing and crafting, getting ready for local country show and an evening at local village music festival with local bands etc. Would be good if it was sunny tomorrow, but can't have everything!

    Happy weekend xx

It doesn't seem 2 minutes since last weekend.

Tomorrow I have a child's zorbing party and then my brother and family arrive back after spending a few days in London. Going to miss them so much when they leave on Tuesday it's been so nice doing aunty duties. Tomorrow night we have our uncles 60th birthday party.

Sunday it's dd2s first holy communion thanksgiving mass and celebration at school. Then we are out to dinner with an aunty and a few cousins.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Paediatric first aid training today. DH picked me up and since it was a drive away we called at a country pub for dinner....now home and feeling like it's Friday...my weekend can start.
I'm going to be super sad tomorrow when I feel I've only had a one day weekend.
Small tip I heard today though: if you have a child prone to nose bleeds, and the sight of the blood on white tissues upsets them...use a red flannel - the blood doesn't look as distinct. Thought it was a good idea, not so instantly throw away as tissues though.

Hi flora, can I ask who you did your first aid training with? Do they do a test at the end of it now?

Blithfield safety is the name of the company.

I have always used St John's before but they had no availability when I wanted it. This company is approved of by our LEA and comes in a lot cheaper - cost £75 plus tax which takes it to £90.
I went on Saturday with some doubts but it was great and very much more paediatric content than the St John's paediatric first aid. It is still continual assessment throughout- but quite stringent I think as I noticed someone being pulled aside and spoken to and I can only glean it may be about their assessment.

Just got back from a long weekend at centre parcs celebrating dd1 30th birthday. Had a great time but now feeling a bit deflated as back home with my partner and both missing having a house full of people. There was 9 of us including grandson who's now 18 months. Had a nice relax at the spa and did go ape. Didn't realise I was so unfit
