    Default Wednesday!

Is chucking down with rain here :-(
What have you all got planned if it's wet where you are?
Hate doing a school run with the little ones in the rain!

Weather seems okay here, bit overcast but dry. Probably going out to the park in a bit once little one has grown bored with their current game. This afternoon we'll be baking sausage rolls - courtesy of fussy elmo causing cravings.

    Lol

We still have a few left - but not for much longer. I can't describe how nice they are. Apparantly mindees mum has had to hide them the dad.

It's my day off today and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to take my DD to school - I've not been able to do it for a couple of weeks and have really, really missed it! Just done a Tesco run and in a minute I'll start tidying/cleaning.

It's just very damp here, but everywhere looks so lush - the trees have all suddenly become incredibly full of leaves - it's almost as if it has happened overnight - or maybe I just haven't noticed the gradual change because I've been out at work every day.

Fussy, as our resident baker, can I replace the butter with lard for that recipe? Have a dairy allergy and not really managed to find any decent dairy free baking alternative.

I'm not entirely sure lard will give the pastry it's crispy layers
