Im currently waiting for my eyfs children too turn up. Mum doesnt have great time keeping but Im in that lull where i can go and do anything as I know the knock will come at the door.
So what are everyones plans for the day?
I was planning to do playdough also trying to introduce a new book as Im all gruffaloed out but its the only book they want to hear.

:-) Hello. Hope your LO turns up soon. I know well that waiting around feeling!
My boys are playing cars ... lots of sorting/counting going on, along with which vehicle fits down which tube. As I write this, they have moved on to pouring conkers down the tubes.
I am not wanted. :-(
My baby is busy investigating the heuristic boxes and also dropping things into a tube with no interest in me! Now she has found all the small clip lock boxes and is trying to open them!
We're going to read our story and do some singing, and then as our story is about seeds, we're going to sow some cress seeds. We've been to garden centre to buy seeds (and look at plants) but I can't face bringing compost inside for the moment! Hopefully we'll get those planted next week outside!
Have fun everyone x
Ps ... Our gruffalo book 'got lost' a while back ....

Hey
We've been drawing round some transport templates, and drawing. The kids have been engaged in building towers most of the morning. Just having lunch now, then we'll have a quiet time. After school we'll be starting to decorate our cardboard suitcases that we made yesterday, ready for our trip around the world with books next term.

They came at 1030 and we were in the middle of making the playdough when school rang to say ds had been sick everywhere.
So it was a short visit.
I now have ds snuggled up on the settee looking like death warmed up. Now to watch tipping point with a cup of tea.

I only have one mindee today as two are off on holiday, nice peaceful day instead of a mad hectic one!
I do have my own son off school with tonsillitis though.
Have just done some baking with mindee, we've made some chocolate chip cookies. I think we'll head off to the park later as the sun is shining bright here today.

oh dear, I hope DS is better soon.
we were just about to start planting cress when I had a call from DS school to say he wasn't feeling well, and needed to come home !!! he is now asleep in bed, and I'm just sitting with the LO's whilst the last LO goes to sleep, then I can get on with a few bits!

I have got an unexpected day off, so decided today was the day to update my SEF.
It took me an hour and a half of hunting through mountains of paperwork before I could find my log in details. Then the internet connection keeps cutting out...
...and now I'm totally bored with it and have drifted towards here and facebook.
I am determined to get it finished today, but it's just so mind-numbingly mundane! I know it'll be worth it in the end, whenever that might be!

Good luck with the sef. Keep plugging on. Are you still waiting to be inspected Mouse?

I'm plodding on! I'm up to about 2600 words and I'm only on the second section! It's a long time since I did my last SEF and it was pretty rubbish so I'm doing it all again from scratch.
I'm still waiting for my inspection. I had been dreading the phone ringing, but now I'm actually hoping it'll be the inspector calling!
I'm pretty much ready. The SEF is the only thing outstanding, so I'll be a lot happier once it's done.
