:-) have a lovely special day today fussy.

We're collecting new kittens later today. Our (not so old) cat had a fit/stroke suddenly a few weeks ago and died, and we need to fill the cat shaped hole. Although currently the kittens are creating a cat shape hole in the bank account whilst we get new bowls/toys and bed (who am I kidding ... I know they'll sleep on our bed!

I love these posts! We had friends over last night and so a tad worse for wear this morning. I let DD have a day off from tap and swimming as we both really need a day where we are not rushing around to keep to a timetable. Just done some of her homework with her. She used to do it all so willingly but is really tired at the moment and it is a bit of a chore. We are house hunting. Can't decide on an area though. So far we're interested in Cheltenham (including the Cotswolds), Shrewsbury and now villages just outside Oxfordshire.

Enjoy the kittens loocyloo, very jealous!
Hope the weather has stayed nice and that you have a lovely day Fussy. x

Geocache - I would love to get into this.

Maza - Brackley, Buckingham and Biscester are lovely towns, have close friends in that area, - just outside Oxford - good schools too.

My weekend - youngest son arrived last night, had a lovely comforting family Friday tradition Chile for dinner, youngest has become a red wine drinker , so a couple of bottles sampled, as Maza, the morning was a little bit slower than usual, though we resolved all YS 's issues over endless Nespresso's .
Big walk/ photo opportunity around our local RSPB lakes this afternoon, son loved the countryside ...he lives in Manchester City centre so a nice change. Back home to a prawn & lettuce nibbles ( Jamie Oliver) over G&T's in the garden sunshine...now preparing evening meal ....and processing photos......lovely relaxing day catching up, being proud of his latest achievements. And it's only Saturday!

Had haircut today. Grandson came over late afternoon and had a lovely cuddle with him. The rest of the weekend is being spent preparing for Mrs O next week. Oh and all the family here for dinner tomorrow. Have a good weekend everyone

    Oooooh, good luck Sylvia.

Thanks Floradora, I'll check out those towns - yes, the move is being driven by schools. Enjoy your son being over. Is it for the weekend?

Spent part of the afternoon watching a fox from our bedroom window. It was going back and forth through three gardens.

Kittens look gorgeous. I am so jealous I want another cat. We lost our beloved dog in April and our cats are very old. I don't want another dog but would love another cat but DH says no.
