Fence panel no2 has finally caved in with the wind - it was vicious here overnight!

It's still awful here we're currently sat looking at our flying trampoline which my 1yr old is finding amusing I can see at least two panels that are ready to go flying too so I can see hubby's got repairs to do before Monday x

It's been incredibly windy here and one of my outdoor grass mats has ended up in a neighbour's garden!

Really windy here. We love watching the tall old trees in the wind (obviously hoping that they say put)! Haven't ventured out yet but after a windy night we usually find rubbish strewn all over the place - it's never ours but it always seems to have made its way to our garden!

Windy day stories? Mrs Mopple's Washing Line, Elmer and the Wind, any others?

We live at the top of a hill and I hate the wind! It has been very windy overnight and this morning with pouring rain as well. The worst that seems to have happened is the cover has come off the Bar B Que thankfully. We have had a bit of sun a calm this afternoon but they have forcast snow for next week. I hate snow

    Default How weird!!

The was no wind to speak of last night, hubby went out late afternoon and put the cover back on the Bar B Que and moved it out of the way.

Why then this morning do I get up to find an upturned plant trough (no plants in it) which was full of water in the middle of the lawn at least 12' from where it was the right way up yesterday by the fence?????!

I was sitting in the hairdressers on Saturday lunchtime when one of my mindees came in.
mindee - you know that place where they go to vote
    me - the church rooms?
mindee - yes , there is a tent in the tree like the one at your house!

Yes it was mine , had 'escaped' from the side yard , and blown about a km down the road before lodging in the tree! Lucky it never caused an accident!

We took outer trampoline down this year as last year in the wind it blew onto our neighbours garage roof. Could have caused an accident. It's not a small one either I'm talking 10ft with net. Thought I'd rather be safe than sorry this year and think I made the right decision
