Think I made a cock up when giving partners income. He is employed on 0 hour contract but works average 30+ hours a week.
I cannot find P60 but have a letter here from HMRC.
    Should I give tax credits
PAYe income or income after taking job expenses. His expenses is fuel as he drives all over the country.

Income after expenses I would imagine. As if i was claiming tax credits i would give income after expenses. Unless off course he is able to claim his petrol back at the end of the tax year then it wouldnt be classed as an expense x

The company pay him 1/2 each month after supplying receipts and HMRC did pay 6 months last year but then put his tax allowance up to compensate, he is no longer allowed to claim it back through them.
The lthat arrived this morning states
    Paye income as £
    Then income after deductions £
Does that mean anything to you?
