How exciting! So pleased for you, Teacake! Good news she didn't need to go to special care, hope it's onwards & upwards from here on, health-wise.

Bit of an update, she has had to go to special care for a little while as she is still having a bit of trouble breathing, they want to see if she has got a bit of an infection or not.

Dd2 went up to special care couple of hours after she was born by c section cos she was doing a great darth vader impression,. She was just cold
And they warmed her up in an incubator for a bit, infection easily treated anyway if that's what it is.,, sure she will be fine soon xxx keep us posted

I remember your original post. So pleased she arrived safely, mum and dad must be so relieved. Special care will look after her well, hopefully she'll soon be home. Xx

She is doing really well at the moment, midwife is really pleased with the way she is feeding opening her eyes a bit more now as well, mum sent me a photo this morning at about 7 and she has her eyes wide open and ready for another feed. I am trying to put a photo on of her but it won't upload, any ideas anyone
