    Default Book week

I am stumped for ideas for my DS to dress up as a book character next week. He's 9, likes Rick Riordan but mostly reads non-fiction. What.'a everyone else going as? I need inspiration!

If he likes Rick Riordan he could go as Percy Jackson
Jeans then paint camp half blood on an orange t shirt.

Get beads and paint them to go round his neck.

And ensure the hair is messy

Exactly this - I did similar but had camp half blood printed on a orange tshirt

Unfortunately I'm no help. I got banned from the library's World Book Day.

Could be because last year I went as the Pop-Up Kama Sutra.

My children's school had a Shakespeare week - everyone had to dress up as someone from a Shakespeare play! My dd was easy - pretty dress and fairy wings (Queen Titania). My son went as a bear (famous line from A Winters Tale, XXX exits pursed by a bear). Lots of mums panicking though about their sons costumes!

Ok, beads made, orange t-shirt dug out of the attic, now to make a 'camp half blood' sign for it.

DD11 has FINALLY decided to go as 'Fancy Nancy' which basically means whatever home clothes she wants.

DD3 has refused to wear the dress I bought her after she declared categorically that she was going as Cinderella. Sigh!
