I got a cake pop maker from a mindee. Think she heard me complaining when I was making them but not sure if I will use it

Lots and lots of biccies and chocs which are not necessarily unwanted but are NOT going to be eaten as I've eaten far too much already!

I got a wine making kit from a relative. The problem is I don't drink (and never have).

She said she thought it was about time I started drinking 'adult drinks' and she would expect to be offered some of the wine when she comes round next time!

It is going straight to the charity shop and next time she comes I will offer her Ribena in a coloured plastic cup.

I've not had anything I didn't like, just lots of chocolates that I wish I didn't have as I have no will power and I shouldn't be eating them as Cholestral is up

Lovely presents including very good bottle of red wine ... That dh snaffled as I don't really drink red wine and he said it was too good to cook with!
I also got a voucher for a local beauty place for a massage or facial or nails etc ... sadly the thought of any of that does not thrill me but my mum would love having her nails done and that would give me as much pleasure!

I have one...i like using it but need some practice getting them right. Its just covering them in the candy melts which is hard work it goes either too thick or thin and runny.
I was hoping to start a 2nd business but too much paperwork and it became not fun.

Margarita cake pops are very yummy and acohoolic!!! Red velvet too:

    Alcohol | KC Bakes

You will so like these versions... Not sure that the parent would be happy with Margarita cake pops as an activity though....and I presume she gave it as a gift with the idea that her little one will come home with lovely examples in the New Year!

(One sherry and all I can write about is alcohol ...!!)

I will try very hard to make sure my adult sons and visitors eat the chocs and biscuits we have by the ton in the house before I get my greedy hands on them...

Apologies if I'm boring you by duplication. I already posted this on another thread which members may have missed during the holidays. (where were you all? How dare you you abandon the Forum to have a good time with the family? )

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas, my True Love, so-called "friends" and relations gave to me:-

    • 12 gift vouchers for shops I don’t shop in
    • 11 bottle of cheap spirits that I don’t drink
    • 10 jumpers I wouldn’t be seen dead in
    • 9 other items of clothing that don’t fit
    • 8 bottles of aftershave that smell bad enough to make the dog sick
    • 7 things that need batteries – without the batteries
    • 6 books I’ve already read
    • 5 pointless things
    • 4 cassette tapes to play on my CD player
    • 3 pairs of driving gloves
    • 2 totally cr4p presents without the receipt for exchange
    • …and a Woolworths gift voucher in a dead pear tree

I asked my mum for a pink sparkly jumper from M & Co - went in the week before Xmas and realised that there were 2 pink sparkly jumpers in M & Co - my husband was with me and said he could tell straight away which one I wanted - however my mum bought me the other one, which I did try on and give the benefit of doubt, but has now gone back and been exchanged.

My brother asked my daughter for ideas on what I would like for Xmas - she said the new Robbie Williams album (meaning the new Swing one) - he looked it up on Amazon and got me the Robbie Classic box set which has just been released but as I already have 4 out of the 5 albums I have contacted Amazon about sending it back for a gift voucher refund - didn't want to bother my brother as his father in law died just before Xmas so considered myself lucky to get a present at all.
