Thanks everyone. I'm in Tonbridge, Kent. If you google Barden Road, Tonbridge you may see some of the footage of rescue vehicles going past my house.
Luckily I gave up CMing to work for a Dental management & training company back in September, so thank goodness I am still able to work.
We are home & living upstairs until such times as the ground floor is liveable again.

Tonbridge looks really bad- my friend put pics on facebook the other day of the park under water and swans swimming on the football pitch! Luckily they're up on the hill. Did you manage to save much furniture from down stairs?

My house is just across the road from that park.
We managed to save the sofas but lost; TV cabinet, chest of draws, pine dresser and dining table & chairs.
The kitchen is the worst; no floor, all base units gone and all white goods & range cooker.

Glad your back at home and earlier than you expected. Looks like a lot of clearing and cleaning needed though. Xx

Just looking at the pictures of the park. We spend a lot of days playing there in the summer. It seems weird seeing like that. Hope you get your home back to normal as quickly as possible
