Default Buying a house - fed up :-(

E are in the process of buying a house
As we are both self employed and my credit score is bad my dad agreed to go on the mortgage with us
We got the mortgage in principle approved
Tried to put the full mortgage application through yesterday and it got declined :-(
The mortgage advisor said the criteria must have changed to get a 90 percent mortgage do he's going to try and put a mortgage in principle in for 85 percent today
If that doesn't work he said the only other thing it could be is my partners credit score may be linked to me somehow
It's just a waiting game now to see if it goes through

Lol no point to this post really I just needed to moan

Can you check with the credit companies that everything is correct on your file.

    So nothing has happened yet,
Natwest are going very slow, there was a problem with my partners ID sample it wasn't photocopied clear enough so another copy has been sent to them so hopefully we will get the mortgage in writing by Wednesday
Doesn't look like we are going to be sorted for Christmas like we wanted as once we have the mortgage has been sorted the solicitors then need to do all the checks we didn't want them to do it until we are 100% sure the mortgage is sorted

Yey :-) mortgage acceptance letter came today

Spoke to the solicitor and I'm thinking my idea of having the keys for Christmas was a little to ambitious

They said properly early in the new year as the checks take up to 2 weeks to complete

At least we know we are moving now tho :-)
