Default Not paying attention ... eek

Ok, so I'm really busy atm. Wednesday I had my usual 9 children between 3-5/6pm. My dd (11) usually comes in from school around 4.10pm, comes in, says hello, empties her lunchbox and then goes to her room to Skype friends.

But weds it got to 4.40pm, it was pitch black outside and all of a sudden I realised dd wasn't home. I started to panic and phoned her mobile which was off. I then tried her friends home number, she didn't answer so I tried her mobile again. So then I though 'what am I going to do now, with 9 children, dh is at work, her mobile is off, I cant get hold of anyone else'

So I booted up my laptop to see if I could get some phone numbers for random friends as I knew surnames and road names.....

Then I thought i'll just nip upstairs and ask my son if he will go out and look for her......Got to the top of the stairs to find my dd in her room I asked her how long she had been in....

'Half an hour ago Mum, I came into the kitchen, said hello and gave you a kiss, don't you remember?'

    For goodness sake
Time Out.. The perfect time for thinking about what you're going to destroy next.
