Film Recommendations for 7-8 yr Old Girls

DD is having a few friends round for Mini-Manicures, Pizza and DVD to celebrate her birthday.

Any recommendations for what they can watch? Something recent or any forgotten Classics they might not have seen?

dd is 8. she loves all the musicals so - chitty chitty bang bang, oliver, annie, joseph & technicolour dreamcoat, wizard of oz ... the only problem is that she gets very emotionally involved EVERYTIME and so we always have great big sobs and tears! she also likes the ' classic ' Disney films - sleeping beauty, Cinderella, little mermaid, dumbo ( although that is tooo sad, along with bambi! ).

actually dd will sit and watch any musical - she quite likes the American wild west ones such as Calamity Jane, Oklahoma, 7 brides for 7 brothers ...
