Well I know we are into Sunday now - (I am late this evening)....but Sat We went to our German Christmas market up Birmingham. Opened mid week.
It is usually a wonderful experience but not today!
Went to park got stuck in a massive que with no option to escape once you joined! Was one in one out was that busy & it took ages!! Which pleased my little one as you can imagine!
It was awful! So overcrowded we just couldn't move and was made worse having my beautiful girl in her push chair too! The amount of people that kept banging into us etc it was just unbelievable!!! I've got ram marks in my ankles from other push chairs driving into me & a ginger man with a long frizzy beard almost put his mustard covered frankfurter in my right eye!!
So we didn't stay very long. The traffic was awful coming back too.
We were in serious need of cheering up so we went to our favourite Indian and had the most delicious curry! Then we came home - lit our log burner, I went up into the loft - got all the Xmas things down and BAM!!!!
MY CHRISTMAS TREE IS UP!!
A little earlier than normal but I needed the festive cheer after a dreadful experience today!!
Wow that's early haha!
I love Christmas but I have to wait for December to arrive before putting the tree up (although usually dh makes me wait until mid December! )

Yes very early this year I just couldn't wait any longer lol x
A friend of mine has had her tree up for two weeks already.
She said she just couldn't wait any longer. Now her three year old gets up every morning and cries because there are still no presents under the tree!
December is going to be a very long month for her.
I'm sorry you had an awful time at the market. A friend of mine has had her tree up for two weeks already. She said she just couldn't wait any longer. Ohhh goodness lol
The stresses our little monkeys out us through ay?!
You try and do something lovely and get the festive spirit about and make it all exciting for the little ones - yet they have other plans lol
Put ours up last night,, we put a small one up in hallway with unbreakable decorations on and one little fella had it over within an hour of being in door! He got a fright though so won't be doing it again though obviously no harm done!
