we have a couple of fence panels down but it's calmer today. We just had a few hours in teh night whilst it was bad. There is modern build church at the end of our terrace - they lost most of their roof - unforunately the roof hit my neighbours car when it blew off

DH was very sensible and stripped the garden bare yesterday with most bits crammed into the shed and other bits wedged tight between wheelie bins etc. He even took down the bird feeders and parked the car down the very end of the drive away from possible falling roof tiles.

What did we get??? Lots of rain and not even a tiny puff of wind!

Better to be safe than sorry I guess.

Nothing to report really here in S Yorkshire, bit rainy and slight wind but nothing major, touch wood!
Hoping everyone else is safe and the weather isn't too bad wherever you are xx

Weve lost 1 fence panel but its really weird as all of the gardens have lost 1 or 2 and its all in a line as if a tornado went through x oh and a neighbour 4 doors away lost their garage roof x

Thanks all for your thoughts about what to charge. When I do the contracts about days off (parents) I really mean when they decide not to send lo's because it's their choice and I feel that choice has been taken away and it's out of their control atm. I think I am talking myself into charging half fee and I do like the family very much so unless they argue that they want to pay full lol I'll ask for half!

Not too bad here, it was really interesting watching the trees bend double, don't know how they stayed upright.
