    Default Pumpkin shaped cake tin

    Got the above but haven't used it yet.,Well, its six pumpkin shaped bun like tin,do you no what i mean?. Anyway Im worried about the cakes sticking as you can't line the shapes with parchment. anyone got one of these tins and have you used it with what results? its metal by the way.

    could you grease and flour them, like we used to before baking parchment

    That is what I was going to do, but wondered if anyone has used one.I have only used parchment into last 2/3 years brilliant stuff didn't want to disappoint children that is all.Thank you for you're reply.

    We sometimes use sugar instead of flour and it doesn't seem to leave a layer on the cake and this might let the details show clearer

    I used mind as a chocolate mold instead, we just melted chocolate, poured it in and stuck lolly sticks in and left it to set. End result was great

    You can buy a spray called cake release. I think Lakeland sell it.
    You use it instead of lining/greasing your tins. Might be worth using for complicated cake tins.

    Waitrose sell this too, it's great for awkward shaped tins

    We have used cake release spray too (Wilton) and it has worked for us with a metal dinosaur cake tin.
