    Default Very happy

Just had a ring at the door, low and behold one of my mindee's mum was there. She came to say thank you for looking after my girl and helping mum with meals for her daughter who's just been diagnosed with coeliac disease.

She gave me a lovely bunch of flowers, I am pleased as punch.

    :-)

Awww that's lovely I'm just wondering my friend and her two daughters have coeliac I have them for tea every week and cook their meal. If I was to advertise when I'm qualified that I can cook gluten free meals do I have to do a food course?? If so what course??

my daughter is coeliac I wouldn't have thought you need to do a course but just be very careful and make sure you are fully aware of cross contamination.

that's what I thought but I didn't know if I needed training if I were to feed minding children with coeliac :/ I'm fully aware of the cross contamination I have dedicated a freezer draw and cupboard to her for food lol even gone as far as she has her own toaster haha x

Wow that really is touching. I had a total nightmare with a parent this summer and now when parents are lovely I find myself getting quite tearful!
