My cousin has just had her 1st baby. I want to get him a gift but want to give something a bit different.
    Any ideas?

Have a look at www.henryandlil.com they have really lovely original appliquéd baby grows which can be personalised. I get one for every new baby that arrives and they always go down really well. X

I tend to give new babes a fleece blanket that they can use as they get older.

    photo album/picture frame

one of those ' baby milestones ' books that you write everything in.

handprint kit? could you then take a handprint of babe on a visit? ( so it doesn't end up being something else the parents need to try & do )

    xx

Best gift I got when I had a baby was a really nice photo album and a disposable camera (with the cost of having it developed included with it).

So many photos are now stored digitally it was nice to take proper photos and have an album to show them off.

Have you thought of a little pencil sketch of the newborn? A very unique present. I can do baby portraits which can be framed and hung on the wall. I was an artist before I became a child minder. Feel free to browse my website.
