Today is my day off and I'm spending it doing housework. How's that a day off?

At least it'll all be done for the weekend & I can have a relaxing 2 days.

Not that I believe in bad luck Friday 13 th butttt...
I've had a late arrival today meaning we've had to miss playgroup
My display board fell down this morning
I forgot to take pasta bake out to defrost (that was yesterday but still means I have to either microwave it, which makes it yucky or go out and buy some lunch for kiddies!)
Oh and I broke a nail this morning getting dressed, boooooo!
Can only get better though xx

My mum was very superstitious, anything and everything had some kind of meaning. It used to drive me nuts, and I would deliberately do things, like walk under ladders, (with a quick glance up to make sure nothing was about to be thrown down), put umberellas up in the house etc etc.
But it was the last straw for mum when two of my children were born on the 13th and one on friday the 13th at ten to midnight.
And no I couldn't wait ten minutes for the 14th, thank you very much!!

I'm just packing mine and one of my daughters bags were going to flamingo land for a big dance comp. I'm super excited but very nervous because I'm doing the parent and child street dance with my daughter haha finger crossed I do we'll for her

Got the morning to myself. I've spent it making a princess castle cake for DDs party. Get her from school at 1pm. She can then tidy her room while I do some more party prep.

Back up school at 3pm for my schoolie. He's here until 5ish. Gonna cook tea and then I will be finishing the cake and enjoying a quiet night. Hubby at yet another works do tonight!

Yay, friday. My 3rd favourite days of the week

We've been to the childrens centre little explorers group this morning. Was nice enough, had a nice chat, the lads just busied themselves so i got to cuddle with the other minders baby, she is sooooo cute - mostly cos she's not mine lol. Then we bought some carrots and the lads insisted on getting some for the bunnies. Now we are chilling out waiting to see what time parents get here.

busy morning at toddlers - I got to cuddle a 10day old babe! I SOOOOO didn't want to give him back ... just so cute!

busy morning at home and now 2 LO fast asleep, including new mindee who is on her first whole day with me and you would have thought had always been here! FAB!

off to school later and then home for tea.

then tonight off to a friends for tea ourselves.

I love the 13th, I was born on a 13th so it's actually my lucky number.

Don't work Fridays so spent this morning going round various shops buying what I need for next week etc. my son gets half days on Fridays so just chilling out now before his swimming lesson later.

Local holiday here on Monday so long lie for us then I have no mindees on Tuesday so I get an extra day to myself!

Not really superstitious but DS4 got knocked off him moped on his way to work this morning, luckily not badly hurt, skinned knee and sprained ankle, BUT this follows DS1 writing off his car just over a week ago and ending up with 2 broken ankles . Really hoping it doesn't come in 3's

Hope you feel better soon. One of the twins puked in Costco yesterday and also a bit in my car, but no more, he had a temp and was off colour, hopefully a 24hr virus!! That I hope I don't get!! Lol x

Afternoon everyone. After a bad start to the day (Alfie pooping his pants just as we were to leave for morning school run) today has been good. Had a relaxing free play day then both boys had nearly 2hrs sleep so I read my kindle as never get chance. Have 1 schoolie now waiting to leave then we're off to the pub for tea, can't be bothered to cook tonight. After that probably just watch tv. Have a good night all.
