At least you weren't asked by the supermarket checkout lady when your due. How embarrasing when I stared at her blankly and she realised oops your not pregnant

My friend was asked this by a mum at school on Wednesday
I cheered her up with a chocolate chip muffin - but refrained myself
When someone tells you nothing is impossible, tell them to go slam a revolving door
I have had that before - put a statement on about being excited about my new buggy, lots of friends replied with things like "wow how exciting I didn't know you were having another" etc. After a few I had then commented that it was to be used for childminding and a friend then wrote "I didn't realise you took them out"?! Erm, where do you think I put them when I am on a school run let alone the rest of the day?! People just don't think do they?!

They didn't realise you took them out - wonder what they thought you did cupboard under the stairs perhaps

I know! I was a bit shocked too and next time I saw her I did comment. She said, I just find it amazing that you take them out I thought you just stayed in all day?! I said even if I chose to be in most of the day what did you think I did with them on school runs? She said I thought you would drive - er no and even if I did I would still need to get them out of the car and you can't always get under 2s walking everywhere. Goodness me!
I had a mum come to visit who asked how I would transport 2 non walkers on the school run ... I said 'with a double buggy' ... "how amazing, I had no idea you could get double buggies" ... having walked past my big red double to get to my front door!
Someone at a hospital (I was visiting someone) come over to ask when I was due!!! In her defence I do look pregnant but I'm not!!! It was very awkward!!!

She didn't know you could get doubles?! Haha! I transport 3 under 2 some days and I understand people asking how (double plus a seated buggy board) but 2?!
When I was eight months pregnant, we went to a wedding and my Dad's friend said to my sister 'so you could have your baby any day now?'...she said no it's my sister that is pregnant and was really upset by it all night!

that's hilarious! fussy, so did you have any joy with serious offers of a buggy sale or just cheeky comments
if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got
When my friend's sister was due she put a picture of the scan photo on her Facebook (my friend, not her sister) and this girl messaged her saying congrats and that she heard (made up) that I was pregnant too!! This was because of a status that I put on when we bought our house!!!
I had a hospital appointment yesterday, had to get a scan. Came out of the room with hubby and someone we knew was sitting in the next waiting room - just waiting for someone to ask if we're having a baby! She's my friend's sister in law so no doubt she will have told her she saw us!
