Is it just me or...
Does anyone else spend ages cooking dinner...and then by the time it's ready to eat it, don't fancy it anymore?!
Does anyone else walk into a room, forget what they went in for and have to retrace their steps again to remember what it was?!
Does anyone else find they say a certain word all the time?!...my current word is 'awesome'!!
And does anyone else load the washing machine, dishwasher or fill the kettle and then forget to turn them on?!
that was my day today!!

Have just managed to drink a cup of tea that had already been microwaved twice! Haven't even started thinking about tea yet and nearly put a used cup in the fridge this morning instead of dishwasher. Think I need another holiday - thank goodness it is my day off tomorrow.

I do all those things all the time

Yep me too. I also never seem to finish making a cup of tea, it tends to brew in the cup until it looks like treacle.
My word of the moment is okay - according to my DH.

I do all them things but I always turn kettle on then leave the room come back to Luke warm water so turn it on again. Must boil it 20 times for just one cup of tea. I'm sure it's why electric bill is high.

yesterday i made appt for dog at dog groomers for 12.15
At 11.45 managed to get 2 mindees strapped in seats in car.
Remembered purse, bag, change of clothes etc for mindees, money to be paid into bank on route, letter to be posted, mobile phone, even got 15yr old grandaughter up and into car on time, locked front door..............................started car, began to reverse out of drive..........
then grandaughter said 'are we not taking the dog?'

I've got baby brain and I've never had a baby! Lol!
I went to put the kettle in the fridge this morning instead of the milk! My excuse is that 7am is too early to fully function!!
I'm still working on my excuse for the rest of the day/time!!

I go into rooms and wonder why I am there all the time... and sometimes when I am writing I gaze out of the window having completely forgotten the next word
-
I accused hubby (silently thank goodness!) of finishing the mindees soft cheese leaving me with none, but found it in the freezer last night. I must have put it there, he doesn't put stuff away!!!

At the moment my ds is home as us a god send! He empty s and loads the dishwasher, hoovered, makes me hot drinks all without being asked. (He is 11, how long will it last)
Dreading when he goes back to school and I have to fend for me and dh!
I always forget things, to the point I walk into a room with a blank look and the rest of the family throw guesses to what I need charming!

My memory is shot to pieces, I forget the name of something I am looking at, names, what I was about to do and loads more.
My excuse is that I have had 5 children and it is not the placenta you lose after giving birth, it is part of your brain!!
