Oh dear, thought we weren't getting rain and thunderstorms until later in the week. Left all my washing out last night. So wet I can't even run out and get it.

Hope that's not the start to a bad week!

We had the odd rumble last night, so I went out a cleared everything from the garden in anticipation. Nothing much happened then, but listening to it through the night, I'm so glad I did it!

Not heard anything during the night. Did have some heavy rain though. I have just heard a rumble of thunder. I'm in brum.

We've just had the BIGGEST thunderstorm ever!!!!

Some poor family has had their house hit and now only has half a roof!

Fingers crossed that's it for the day!

Feeling quite smug as I got everything in from the garden, gazebo down, sandpit secured and as I came in the thunder started. Spectacular storm followed, which I love to watch and for the first time in weeks I felt cool and comfortable, rather than the rather irritated, sweaty mess I have been lately.

Nothing here yet either. I cleared the garden last night and covered the bunny hutches over with tarpaulin, woke up this morning and no rain, no storms. Doesn't look like any sign of rain either, the sun is trying to break though the cloud.

We had terrific thunderstorms last night from about 9pm - lots of heavy rain overnight and still raining now.

Thank goodness it's the last school runs today!

Thunder hit here about 545 and boy it was a cracker.

Linzi133 I thought our house or car had been hit at one stage luckily it just tripped our electrics out.

Stay safe everyone they are forecast for the rest of the day - road conditions could be difficult.

Typical really second day of the holidays and its back to normal holiday weather

I cleared my garden Sunday as I knew rain was on the way at some point and we were out all day yesterday. Still waiting for the rain, although the sky is starting to look a little darker south of us so maybe it's on the way, i'm in the North-East.
    love Sarah.

I'm in Blyth (Northumberland) and boy was it a good one!!

It was a tad scary to listen too at 4am. I couldn't be bothered to get out of bed to watch!!

Thank goodness it's over. It's cloudy but the rain has stopped.

We're getting the rain and the odd rumble but nothing too close! I'm disappointed as my dd 2 is loving it, first time she's seen a storm!
I'm slightly amazed, as I hated it as a child and until I had my own kids, when I realised I was meant to be the one that wasn't afraid!!!
