Default IS ANYONE ELSE FEELING POORLY?

Oh my goodness, after being quite poorly for a couple of weeks I thought I was on the mend.

On friday I woke up with yet another stinking cold and sore throat!!!

All the los have runny noses etc and it just seems to be going round and round.

Is anyone else like this or is it just my germy lot here.

Anyone got any advice on anything that might help?

The same here too silvermist. I am fed up of everytime one child gets better anther seems to be ill. I have just felt really run down with it all. However touch wood i have not actually caught any of the bugs, nor has my own little one, but we do take multi vitamins every day, use hand gel throughout the day, really limit toys when children are ill so that i only get out the ones easy to clean, plenty of fruit and veg etc. Like you i also get us out most days, have windows open when i can, and turned the heating down.

I have also been looking at some other herbal remedies which i think after my holiday i will start taking some, it cant hurt to try it anyway.

I am also hoping after my 2 and half weeks away that the mindees have also improved too

There does seem to be an abundance of illnesses about.

Hopefully you are better and stay that way. Is there something you can take to boost your immune system.

    It's hit our house too.

LO came last week with cough which then turned into a cold and yes they still bought him. Dad however got it and has been off work since Friday with the same thing, took to his bed.

I got up yesterday with sore throat, then throughout the day the aches and throbbing head came. Dd was sent home from school yesterday due to it too Today I feel a lot worse but as usual have carried on working (stupid I know) but I made sure parents knew I was ill and I would phone if I was too ill to carry on
I know I'm too soft but I think it's time to toughen up and enforce my illness policy!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone that is poorly gets better quickly
