Default Fee for holding a space

What does everyone charge if they are holding a space for a new mindee?

if the space is open now, I'm not sure - I'd not be able to hold it for very long without a retainer. Even then 6 months at half fees is a big loss?

If it were a month or so, maybe half fees till they started.

However, regardless of the retainer, I'd charge a month's deposit and get the contracts signed now.
if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got
