things your 5 year old wants for xmas????

Ah I miss having youngsters writing their lists!!! My sons are 19 and 21 now and absolutely no help when I ask what they want for christmas

When our eldest was aout 4 we went to see santa for the younger sons birthday (20th December) Santa asked what DS1 wanted for Christmas and he piped up "a remote control Thomas the Tank Engine" hadn't EVER been mentioned before Good old santa pulled out all the stops and Christmas morning there was a remote control Thomas - lasted till all of boxing Day as in those days the remote control was attached to the engine with a wire and 4 boys v 1 train didn't work very well

Don't they always do that . No word of something until usually 1 or 2 days beforehand and then suddenly out it pops.

someone in the playground asked DS what he was asking santa for, DS replied ' don't be stupid santa is pretend, and anyway we celebrate yule not christmas' and then proceedued to explain what yule is whilst all the other mums shot me daggers!!
