    Question Potette/travel potty

I'm after opinions on travel potties please What do you use (for a lo just potty training) when out and about? I can't fit my potty under my buggy!

I'm watchng a couple of Potette Plus's on ebay but thought I'd better get some reviews first! My dd is 2.6 yrs but is a big girl and I just wonder if they will take her weight and be sturdy enough.

Which travel potty do you use?
    Thanks

I have the potette and it is good and sturdy, I keep some of the liner bags with it, under the buggy. Its good and quick to set up, I always try to have a liner in it ready!

Thanks Katiekoo! I was just worried that she'd sit on it and it would collapse
I'll have a cheeky bid on them then!

That's the one we use too. Even the older children 4/5 if they get caught short use it.
If we're in the woods and it's just a wee we don't bother with the liner.

We call it our 'forest' potty

I use the potette and have never had any problems but must admit I have never used it for 4/5s.

Love the potette and liners. Never had a problem with the size or strength. Habe used it with three year olds.

I love mine, my own DD (5 1/2) used it just last week when caught short in the park, I did worry it might buckle but it was absolutely fine! Good idea to get it in Boots, they have 3 for 2 on baby products at the moment so you could get some spare liners too.

The liners work out expensive - much cheaper to buy nappy bags and 'value range' ladies pads to put in the bottom.
Ive had my 'potette' since ds2 was small and hes 17! Its still as good as ever after a range of sizes of bottom over the years!

I have had one for 15years. Bought it for my dd and I am still using it. It is fab. I saw my SIL struggle with a potty, not only the size but the contents I decided I wouldn't go there and love the way you tie the bag up and chuck it in the bin

Couldn't do without my mine. Had my fist one for my eldest who is now 22! Only just replaced it as new style doubles as a toilet seat too and mine was showing it's age a little!!!

Has had many a bottom on it over the years of many sizes.

My new one was from Boots on the 3 for 2 with extra liners.

Thank you ladies for the reviews.
I popped to Boots after work tonight and took advantage of the 3 for 2 offer and bought the Potette and 2 packets of liners. I was very excited and got it out as soon as we got home. Showed my dd how it works and she said "why froggies 'brella?" so I explained that the frogs had umbrella's because she was going to wee wee on them and make them all wet "me no like it!" came the reply

It took me an hour to even get her to sit on it but so far it's as dry as a bone! I'm hoping tomorrow when we NEED to use it she'll be ok

Good luck with getting the froggies wet, I don't think you will be disappointed with your purchase - I love my potette.

A nanny friend of mine has even sat on her pottete herself when 'caught short' so its definitely sturdy (saying that she must only weigh about 8 stone bless her!!!!)

If she doesnt like them, put it on after she's had a wee to soak it up
