    Yes
Ask him a few difficult questions. Put him on the spot.

Gosh I would be asking some challenging questions for sure. Has he ever met a real live childminder before?

Oh go just introduce yourself as a hardworking Childminder I bet he has never met one!

Wish I could swap places with you I wouldn't hesitate. I'd start by asking for his autograph on the petition!!!

People who know me think I am mega confident and outgoing, I am not I am terribly shy and even when i had to thank my friends and family for coming to my ds's birthday celebrations i was shaking and having hot flushes. There is no way I would approach anyone on a train to discuss anything political unless I was mega clued up and very sure of my arguement.

Those of you like RS, HS, Sarah, Penny and Debbie are so clued up about the deregualtion they could talk the hind legs off a donkey and be able to argue an intelligent arguement. I would stumble and stutter and not make any sense at all. It would be counter productive for me to approach anyone.

Although to be honest he would never have been allowed to sign anything especially as it's his government who are proposing the chnages in the first place

I wouldn't have said anything either .... I would have had a lot going on in my head of what I wish I could say.

I understand completely - because you sound very like me - I am not at all confident - I hate public speaking, I stumble over my words and so on. If I was faced with such a situation - I would not have started a conversation.

I only do what I do by role plying and have some sort of security blanket at all times when speaking in pyblic - used to be my LA badge, or my cledge badge, or my NCMA badge - something which said - she knows what she is on about .

So as I say I understand.
