    Default ANNIVERSARY

a year ago today I started my new way of eating - got to my target and more within two months. I've carried on with the eating regime probably 60:40 in terms of strictness, but it's so easy to follow - never hungry, eat loads and really healthy and yummy and ...........one year on and I've not put on a pound. (well apart from a few pounds last xmas but soon came off again when I went back to following it)

Well done Juggler - am trying to stick to your 70 / 30 mantra and so far so good here too though its only a couple of months since I reached goal. Had a blip of confidence a couple of weeks ago but am over that now and i know I can do it!
Notice youve gone 60 / 40 now though!

lol - it varies - 60:40/70:30. Depends on if I have a naughty weekend how strict I am in the week

I do weigh most days (I know you shouldn't ) and I take that as a guide about how I will eat that day. This week I've had a cold so have eaten far more carbs than I normally would but I needed them.

I did the Gym Junkies Nutrition plan. Google it, it's fab. I have the nutrition plan if anyone wants it but it costs about £30 to buy/download. I didn't really follow the exercise plan I just do my zumba instead but basically its maintains that long, gentle exercise sessions are pointless but that going for it really hard for 10 mins - 30 mins every other day is far better for fat burning. So run up a hill/stairs and get panting for 10 mins rather than waster time on a 40 min jog/run. I like this idea

Nutrition is natural foods, meat, fish, eggs, veggies and fruits but v. low carb and low (ish) dairy and sugar.
