    Default My WW diary 2011

    Hi
I joined WW last night and this is going to be my diary where I record how I get on.

Everyone was realy friendly, its just a small group with about a dozen memebrs, as its a new group.

I weighed in and they set my first goal.
When I got home I read through the folder and tried to get to grips with the points system.

If anyone has any good WW recipies please let me know.

So here goes, I will let you know how I'm getting on later in the week

Well 2 days in and its going OK.
I'm quite hungry this afternoon, so trying to keep busy to take my mind off it.

I have started to track what I eat on the WW website.

I've noticed on the internet tracker that if I have 2 slices of WW danish bread at 1 point a slice, it comes up as 3 points?

I need to get hold of some WW cook books as I am struggling to think what to have as an evening meal.

Lets hope the rest of the week goes as well

Good luck, i think the 1st week can be hard as you have to change a lifetime of bad habits. I go to slimming world and since beg of January i've lost 16 1/2 lbs. There's only been 1 week where i gained weight and luckily that was only 1/2lb. My final target is 9 1/2 stone so just under 2 stone to go.

    Good luck!

It's hard especially when you are trying to get used to a new plan and work out the meals and everything but you'll get there.

Soon it will be second nature and you'll be worrying about affording new clothes!

You will find that there are a few things which seem to come up as different points such as the bread. Its just because the online values are more acccurate whereas the lists are rounded up and down. I lost about 10lbs last year with the old plan..then lost all motivation and have put it all back and more. So I think Im going to go tonight and give it another go. Have been trying to cut down by myself but I need that weigh in looming to keep me on track. Dreading what the scales say tonight though!

The group leader has asked me to be one of her marshalls. She wants me to meet & greet the newbies and help them fill in the registration form and for that I get free weigh in's

    Aaaarrrrrgggghhh

    Really cross with myself.
Had a bad day food wise yesterday
Went out for lunch to a carvery, tried to be good and just had meat, veg and a tiny yorkshire pud. No potatoes and no pudding.

Not too bad so far but when I got home I had a packet of crisps and a whispa

Then to top it all off, when I got in from work last night I had a kebab

This morning I have woken up and regretted it deeply.

So I have vowed to be extra good to day and not let it spoil the week, back on track today.

We all do it Toothfairy... don't be angry with yourself I found that just made me worse. Just start a fresh like you have.

I too always had a cheat day the day after weigh in... and i'm told its good for your system.

I lost 2st with slimming world... i'm at a standstill at the minute but thats because my head not in a place to be thinking about it. I'm good in my meals and how I cook but just having a few too many treats lol But I will get back on track when Pre-Reg complete.

I have WW cook books my friend has them at the mo, i'll get them back and have a look for some nice recipes for you

Your doing great, keep moving forward
