2011 weight loss thread

Count me in! I ended up in hospital the week after half term after having problems with my eyes. To cut a long story a bit shorter I have too much fluid round my brain which is causing pressure behind my eyes. One of the causes of this is being overweight. It frightened the heck out of me, had mri scan, lumbar puncture, and was talk of me possibly needing a shunt. Anyway got to get my weight down, with a medical wake up its been easy so far. Been a bit naughty over christmas but could really do with the support and team effort I know goes on here, we can encourage each other and moan when we are having bad days and shout from the roof tops when we need new clothes!!!! I don't know how much I weighed exactly and I chose not to weigh myself as I get obsessed. I'm in this for a long time and would rather see/ feel results rather than watch numbers. Good luck to everyone and enjoy the next couple of days without feeling too guilty! x

Can I join as well please? I am determined to be 'slim' again by my holiday next summer will do a weight check at beginning of Jan but depending on how much 'rubbish' we have left to eat I may not start until middle of Jan

count me in i need to lose at least 7 stone to get to a healthy weight can start 3 rd jan. fluffyemma i too put loads on after having my gall bladder out most of what i have to lose. they dont tell you this though. good luck everyone

ha my life is one big diet! weighed in this morning very very pleased

Can I be counted too please, I keep trying to eat healthy but I fall by the wayside ALOT, while in game today though saw a wii game from tv show the biggest loser on sky 1 so going out to get that tomorrow as the show looks good -when i see it, 3rd is good for me as our visitors go back then.

Havent weighed for a while but ive got about 2/3 stone to lose

I appear to have rejoined Tesco Diets - at the same weight I was when I joined 2 years ago which is my heavist non-pregnant weight I lost 2.5 stone between Nov 2008 and July 2009 - then it all went horribly wrong. So I start on Wednesday (so I can go to the shops tomorrow and get the good food in!) and will see how it goes.

Fingers crossed!!! I've paid for the year up front so I have to do it!! I have a total of 4 stone to lose but I know I will take a while to do that.
