Default Cambridge today but with a difference

In 2008 I lost 4 stone but over the last 2 years half of it has crept back on and for the last 6 months I have been trying again but went back to picking and couldn't really get back to the diet.

However, my husband has decided to do it too so today is day 1 for both of us. So excited and focused.

I want to be a size 12 again!

    Wish us luck
    Debbie

Good luck to the both of you. It's so much easier when you're doing it together. I persuaded my dh to join slimming world with me and he is actually enjoying going to class, he even got slimmer of the week last week

Well day 1 went well for both of us but Gary still psycologically is hungry - more water for him!!

We have been on a 5 mile bike ride, my shoulders are killing me and my calves are burning so it must be doing me some good.

Roll on tomorrow and day 2

For all those others still trying or starting - we are half way there by starting in the first place - keep going

Good luck to you Debbie, Mick and I are doing SW together which is great encouragement for each other, but he has started to yo yo, so tonight has been to enroll at the local Gym, I can feel my aching bones already and I haven't had the induction yet

I have just been to see my local CD counsellor this morning. I have come away with a 4 a day supply as I am not sure I will cope on 3, but if I don't use them they will carry over for next week. I need to lose 5 stone, but I want to lose 6. Hopefully by Christmas I will be well on my way.

    How are you coping?

Well here we are on day 5 and we are both going well. We weighed in yesterday at half way and Gary has lost 7lb already which is what I expected (I think it will be a stone by Monday) and I have lost 3lb which is 1lb per day and I am happy.

I have gone to the 8/10 which means I can have a meal if I want one (this I did when out with the mindees as watching them eat McDonalds was just too much) and I am being fairly good.

Gary is out on his bike more than me (about 15 miles more than me on Wednesday) but I am "thinking" about it - got to show willing!

We don't have anything on this weekend so can be in control and both of my children have asked for "no crap" so that they can eat healthily too. Cookery lessons start this afternoon for them!

Lol at thinking about cycling ..if only it used up the calories!!

Seriously considering joining you on the cd after i come back from my hols..Do you have to have a certain amount to lose or a certain bmi to do it?

Sounds like youre well on the way to those size 12s!!

The bmi they are aiming for is between 22/24 and mine was 31 when I started. There are different levels you can start and finish on. have a look at the website.

Well I just completed my 1st day on the sole source program, the porridge was disgusting and I wasn't keen on the chocolate orange, (strange taste) but apart from that it went ok. I have to lose 5 stone altogether though, so I am starting on 4 a day. I had a chocolate orange bar last night that I had cut into pieces and frozen, so it was nice to nibble over the evening. This is something I want to stop though as it is a very bad habit of mine.

Well done to you and hubby on your losses so far. I won't be getting weighed until Friday as I don't own any scales.
