    Default Zumba?

anyone done this excercise class before?

It is dancing to latin american music and looks like fun! I got a flyer through the door yesterday and had a look online...there are some videos on youtube too and actually I have now also seen an add on tv about it...

I am not wanting to buy the DVD's but actually join a local class.

They did a free one at my Gym, but i did not try it. But anything with good music is a great work out.

You may even be able to move your hips like Shakira by the end of it

yes it is in the evenings once a week. and I can get there after mindees have gone home. will phone them next week to arrange for my first session

will give it a go and see if I like it.
I need to find something that I will actually enjoy otherwise I have no chance of sticking with it!!

You may even be able to move your hips like Shakira by the end of it
Now that would be something!! haha

I've seen this advertised near to me too and it looks great, I really want to go. I went on a fitness weekend earlier in the year and did something very similar and it was fantastic, I loved it. You could feel the effects just after one session and it did not feel like excersise (which is always a good thing!)

It's hit the North East big time.Loads of classes round here and very popular.I know one lady who's lost 2 stone in less than 4mths just by joining the class twice a week, no dieting!!!!

I'm yet to find a class to fit into my schedule but would love to find a dvd if anyone can point me in the right direction please

I was completely unfit , hadnt done any exercise other than running around after the kids for years , so was a bit unsure...but its great fun , and I highly recommend it - do one class a week and going up to 2 next week

erm - weight , no. size yes.
I have ' strayed' from my diet over the last few weeks and the weight has crept back on , but not the size if you see what i mean. Trousers which were too big at my lightest are still too big .
I have started my diet yet again this week , and i expect ill lose weight quicker now im zumbaing! but then maybe the same could be said of any 'extra' exercise.
