    Default 2010 Weight Loss FAILED

I have NO will power and yet again decided to lose weight at the beginning of the year . . . I am a brilliant started but a pathetic finisher!!! . . . in January I lost 13 lbs and in the beginning of February lost 8 lbs . . . I was sooooooo happy and felt great but in March put on 4 lbs and I fear I am losing the weight battle again

So I was thinking of getting back to my healthy eating plan but was thinking of trying the Alli pills and was wondering if anyone on the forum tried them and what your views were?

I think they are so expensive, didnt want to waste my money on yet another FAD!!!

So should I try them, are they effective with a healthy eating plan

    or

should I just stick to the tried and tested healthy eating plan and exercise??

    Lovies
    Tam
    x

p.s. my weight is seriously getting me down and making me miserable and summer is around the corner and I feel so self conscience!

    What are you like!!!

Lets see what feedback we get and perhaps we can be brave and try them together . . . I am just worried about one of the symptoms if you dont eat the right foods

    Like you i am miserable,

lost 11lbs before xmas in 8 weeks & was so happy but put it all back on since...really down as I'm going to Spain in 3 weeks & feel so self conscious. I have no will power to do what i did before xmas. I'm annoying my husband by moaning about it, he hasn't said anything but i can sense it. He goes gym 4-5 times a week & is very fit, he encourages me to go with him but the smallest excuses stop me from going.

I'm not a big big person but i have put on a stone & half since i started childminding (3 yrs ago)

oh I sooooooooo know what you mean . . . and although my hubby is supportive, I too know he is tried of hearing me complain about my weight, lose a bit and then put it all + back on . . . it is also affecting us in the bedroom department if you know what I mean

Do you snack on crisps or biscuits?? I used to and in January and February I just eat healthily and cut out all puddings and snacks and I lost a stone and a half . . . but since March I have been back at the puddings and snacks and TAKEOUTS *evil*

You know, there is NO miracle, it is simple . . . healthy eating and exercise and a whole LOT of will power . . . I just dont want to suffer but unfortuntely I am gonna have to to lose the weight.

Sooooooooooooooo come Tuesday my plan is to stop the biscuits, crisps, puddings and takeaways!!!! . . . I am also gonna stop my sugar in my tea and coffee and get back on the skimmed milk (like I did in January and February) as that made a BIG difference.

Come on, you can do it with me . . . what little NAUGHTY thing do you eat that you know you shouldnt that could make a BIG difference . . .

my biggest sin is coca cola, but i'm doing really well, in the last 2 weeks i have had less than i would have had in a day!!

i'm also eating healthy, drinking flavoured sugar free water, and when kids go back to school we will be going swimming 2 nights a week (pool open til 8pm, kids swim free) plus walking the dogs EVERY night

i WILL be slimmer for going back to egypt in september will be happy if i can get down to a size 12, 10 would be amazing but i'll settle for 12
I'm a 14/16 now depending on where i shop and what type of clothes i buy.

Tam, another reason you did so well in Jan and Feb was all the snow, and your unreliable bus that meant you had to trek up and down that hill all the time! So in April, ditch the bus and get the kids out in the fesh air!!!

I like your enthusiasm . . . you go girl!!! . . . keep me updated on your progress, it will inspire me!!!

I was thinking of (in addition to my bin junk food routine) of walking to and from school twice a week (weather permitting)

I am just so uncomfortable inside my body at the moment so really need to do it NOW!!!!
