    Well.....its going OK.

After a bad start on Monday, when I had 2 horrid soups in a row I have now had 2 good days. I have had a cappuchino shake in the mornings, then yesturday I had Vegtable soup for lunch and Leek & Potato soup in the evening.
Today I tried the Chicken & Mushroom soup, which again wasn't to bad.

But tomorrow is the dreaded day 4, which people have said is the hardest day but lets see.

I have also struggled drinking the 4 pints of water (I've never drunk much) but my friend who is also doing it let me try her powder you add to water and it was fab, so I will get some.

I am being weighed on saturday morning, which will be the start of my day 6 as I didn't start til Monday. I will let you know how I get on, also if I struggle before then I will be after some will power vibes.

The only soup I like is the Chicken & mushroom and I have that every day!

I'm going to try Dee's way of making the shakes as I haven't added the ice before. I normally have the cappachino one for breakfast, chicken & mushroom for lunch and then every other day I have a toffee bar which are yummy and the other days I make a choc or strawberry mousse.

good luck with it and once you get over the 1st week you will be grand!

Its going ok, to my surprise.

I'm not feeling hungry at all and I am getting used to the soups.

The thing I am finding hard is the social side of things and being around food. I had to realy stop my self from nicking a chip when my guys had Fish & chips for tea the other night. Also I have so many parties to go to.

Over the next 3 weeks I have two 40th B-day parties and a Christening to go to with fantastic Buffets and a Hog Roast!!

I am also due to go out for a chinese in 4 weeks time, this has been booked for months and has already been cancelled once when I went into Hospital, I am dreading havng to tell my friends I am going to have to cancel again.

Also cooking the Sunday Roast and not being able to eat it will be realy hard.

Still, I've got to keep going. Being weighed tomorrow so I will let you know how I get on.

    How are you doing Childmind04?

Well, I had my first weigh in today.......... (drum roll)

And I have lost 10lb in five days!

Only started on Monday, so I hope to loose a stone by the end of my first week.

I know that it is mainly water and that from now on it wil be more 3-4lb a week but its a good start.

My darling daughter aged 6 has just come up to me and said.......

"Well what did the lady say, do you still have to do the diet"?? When I replied "Yes", she said, "I thought you would" and walked off!

Out of the mouth of babes!!!

    Day 8

Its still going OK, I'm not feeling hungry at all.

I'm still struggling with the social side, this diet has made me realise how much of our social lives revolved around food and eating out.

I have set myself a mini goal of 1 stone and then once I have past that (which I have on my scales at home but not officialy) I will set my next goal of another stone. I am going to try and keep it going until Xmas, by which time I should have lost 4-5 stone and then I will have xmas day and boxing day off and then start again.

Will let you know how I get on when I get weighed on Saturday.
