I'm starting tomorrow, so we are roughly at the same stage, good luck for this week. How much do you want to lose?

Loads of people are dieting atm so a good time to start. I started mine last tuesday and iv had to tweak it a little as after day 3 I felt really weak. Its all about tailoring something that suits you and your life style. Im now calorie counting and cutting down meal portions and eating more fruit and veg. Drink lots and lots of water as that will help

However iv had a rubbish day today. went for a bike ride with my daughter and ended up having a childs size 99 ice cream and then a large roast dinner later. I just hope 1 bad day doesnt stop me losing weight this week

I believe you have to have a little or big treat now and again No point in making yourself feel down.
So what i say is there's always tomorrow.
And as my Nan would have said" A little bit of what you like does you good"
    Good luck for next week

I'm also currently dieting, first 8 weeks were good, I lost 18lbs and was really proud of what i had done.

Then 3 weeks ago my daughter wnet into hospital for an operation, only minor but had to be put asleep and i was really worried about it. I started eating crap again and havent really stopped.

I went and weighed myslf on thursday and was very pleasently surprised to find out i weighed the same as before my daughters op so still 18lbs down.

Thats given me the motivation to stick at it again, only wanna loose like another 7lbs, then tone my belly up a bit, go on holiday first week in july so need it done by then.

Good luck with yours, its hard at times but keep at it you'll be pleased you did.

Well done Gareth. 18lbs! Brilliant. I've lost 8lbs on weight watchers but it's ok that it's coming off slowly, at least it is coming off.

I don't drink the water Sharon lol.

Can I join you all please? I need to lose 2 stone(ish) before August. Need moral support. I look after 2, 2 year olds, and they both sleep for an hour after dinner. So I've bought WII fitness trainer and I do that then. Was a bit embarrassed when a parent turned up early and I answered the door red faced, panting and sweating!!Don't think they were too impressed, but I was in same room as the children. Julie.xxx.

Yeah shes fine thanks, she has problems with her speech, the docs said she was tounge tied (a little bit of skin under tounge holding it down).

As i said only a minor op, it was just the being put to sleep part that worried me. She lvoed it, was like a dya out for her, a huge toy room, different children to play with and 15 minutes after comming out of recovery she was asking for food, her tounge wasnt hurting at all, she even asked if she could have a sleepover there lol.

Awwww Bless her, kids are so resilient ar'nt they, they just seem to bounce back. We do all the worrying, and they're thinking whats all the fuss about.
No what you mean about about being put to sleep tho, that is a worry.
    Glad she ok

I have not lost any more.
I am not eating any naughties, but i do like to unwind with a glass or two of Red wine in the evening, think this is my problem.
I am now going onto brown bread as apparently this is better for me. Hence my thread regarding brown bread for LO's. So will carry on giving them white as usual.
Just wanted to let you know i am still plodding on. At least I hav'nt put any on
