Ah thanks, the dress is quite a flattering style! I want to lose 1 1/2 stone by end June for my hols and then another stone after that!

lady you are lovely - you certainly know how to dress for you size (which is fine, but personal!)

How tall are you? what dress size are you? I would ask your weight but I suspect that is not cool.

I'm 5 foot 6 and my dress is a size 16

my bmi is well into the 'overweight' category but not quite at the obese scale yet, so best deal with it now before it gets that far

There's no way to say this that won't sound rude so I hope you'll take it for the compliment it is meant as but you really would never know that's a size 16 dress. You don't look a size 16.

Argh, I don't know how else to say it!

I'm a 16 top because of my boobs but I wear a size 12 trouser (nearly to size 10).

lol, I'm an apple. I've had no waist for years now. I've lost 5 inches and 5lbs up to now and I can see my bottom is smaller and my trousers are baggier. I've only lost about an inch off my waist. I really need to exercise and tone up but I don't know whether to do a few sit ups (said she confidently!!) or get a dvd or what. So I haven't actually done anything yet. My waist was 37 inches which according to 'the books' is too big even for a bloke! I know I'm getting boring now cos I say it all the time but don't forget to measure too.
