    Default Fat Fighters !!

Ok so I really mean weight watchers
Well I went tonight to sign up and guess what..................yep I'm fat

I'm heavier now than I've ever been and thats saying something. I feel so uncomfortable and unfit that I decided it was now or never.
I'm going on a girlie holiday to Spain at the end of April and I don't want to be this big then.

Just seen this Twinkles, good for you!!! I see you have joined WW too. I spent a fortune tonight and then went to Sainsbury's and got loads of food for ME which cost me another fortune! My meeting was really busy, I was quite surprised. I don't have a target, I have no idea what I should weigh, I'm 13st and 5'6" tall, any idea or can I work it out myself from somewhere?

Don't know what your target weight should be Sue but your BMI (Body mass index) is 29.4 - healthy range should be below 25.

    Is that any help?

Your leader should have given you 'ideal' weight ideas. And then a 5% and 10% goal.
    Didn't she do that ??

I also spend a lot on the snack bars at the meetings , have to say they've kept me going.

Breakfast must have been the theme this week 'cos that's what mine was on about too.

ps if you join the monthly pass you get access to the website , you should be able to find your ideal weight there.

Yes, thanks (sob!) it's awful isn't it, body mass!!!!!

No she didn't tell us anything about ideal weight loss, we stayed behind after the lesson us new ones lol and she didn't speak to us all individually and I thought she said she was going to when we got weighed. I paid my £17+, whatever it was and I am going to do that monthly pass thing. Daft question but if I've paid this £17 something, that's for a month isn't it and I start paying by direct debit next month?

It's not as bad as body fat percentage - that was the real shocker for me when I started at the gym

Your BMI should come down quite quickly as you lose weight.

    Good luck

I need to buy some kitchen scales, the woman at ww said I didn't need any but I haven't a clue what 30g is!!! I've just had some bran flakes with sultanas and had no idea how many to have. I had jacket spud again lastnight with low fat philly cheese and didn't know how much I should have either. It seems complicated! I know it's me, I'm dead dim! I've had a ww ceareal bar and the bran flakes this morning and I'm starving!!!

I know Debbie, I hate being hungry lol. I've got IBS and if I feel hungry and don't eat, I get awful pains. I just don't know what to have! I usually have a few biscuits if I'm hungry!!!!!! Could have an apple I suppose! Got to get new eating habits!!!!
