I've lost 16 1/2 lb altogether. I was a bit disheartened last night but actually I did lose the plot diet wise last week so I kind of expected it.
    Hey ho onwards and upwards.

To have lost 16 1/2 pounds so far is fantastic! You must be feeling a difference now with your clothes hun? Your going in the right direction, 1/2 pound off is miles better than 1/2 pound on!!!

    Wow!! Yeah to you both!

Twinks, how long have you been at this then? And already you've lost over a stone? That is very impressive.

Would it be cheeky of me to ask what a typical daily menu is for you? I'm always trying to glean idea from other people.

    Sue, how are you doing?

Badly Tatia!!! lol I've only lost 2lbs in about 4 weeks BUT, I'm really happy cos I've lost inches. I've lost 3 from my waist and 3 from my boobs and 2 from my hips. I don't understand how you lose inches but not pounds. I'm doing weight watchers but I'm such a nibbler, I want caramel wafers or carrot cake all day!

Today I had a cuppa and my TWELVE tablets and a WW bar
and a 60g bowl of sultana bran for breakfast with ss milk

I don't plan which is wrong so no idea what I'm having for lunch or dinner. I like pitta bread with lots of salad and lean coked chicken. Last night I had a jacket potato with coronation chicken on it and loads of salad.

I'd rather lose inches than pounds any day! My boobs and belly are my biggest (hah! biggest, ain't it the truth? ) problems. I need to find my cloth tape measure and jot them down today so I can keep track of those, as well.

Oh me too!!! My boobs were 44" on 9th March with no clothes on and today they are down to 41". I measured twice to make sure!! My stomach is horrible, with being older it's all flabby and dimply. Not a pretty sight!!!

    Thanks everyone.

Tatia i've been using ready meals for lunch and dinner a lot of my problem is portion control so I'm hoping that it will re-educate my tummy to expect less. Seems to be working as when i went out to dinner the other day I ate my starter and only half my main course - I was full !!

The other problem ( or one of the other problems ! ) is that I love to cook but not low fat stuff !!

Yup, me too. I have to look for healthier recipes instead of going oooh nice, think I'll make a lovely creamy white sauce.

Ok so I'm really cheesed off now - mmmmmm cheese -

    I only lost a pound this week - and I didn't go last week so I'm down to 1/2 lb a week - it's not enough !
I have so much weight to lose I'll be 94 before I can get into size 12 jeans

I have an appointment with GP tomorrow to ask for slimming tablets.

You seem to be doing quite well without slimming tablets, how much more do you want to lose?

I've got another 4 stone to lose to be within healthy guidelines.
I was doing well at first but seem to have lost the plot recently.

I love the chicken tikka lunch box...I can sent you the receipe but it'sbasically:

Chicken breast cubed /quorn pieces, mixed with garlic yougurt, red onion, lemon juice peppers, peas, rice & a sprinking of tikka powder..you can eat it hot or cold...A whole big wokfull is 18 points (we are talking quite a few really decent sixed meals & it's really filling)...I like to serve with my version of a lebonese dish which is chopped onion, tomatoes & cucuber mixed with a squeezed lemon...ummmm delish...hardly any points....everyone loves it & it's a really lovely on a picnic or as a proper serve at the table meal.

PS Takes 20 mins max to make (& I chop realllly slowely), inclusive of all prep!

You don't need slimming tablets! Listen woman if I can loose 6 &1/2 stone with them & keep it off (untill I had 2 babies)...then so can YOU!!!! Go & weight out half a pound of fat & see how much you got rid off! Have you done your inches? Be honest have you really stuck to your points? If so then you need to move a little bit more / look at your portion sizes...have they been creeping up? If you haven't been putting pen to paper & tracking then start...it's amazing how a point here & there adds up & is so easily forgotten!! Go Twinkles!
