Weight loss advice?
Hey all,
Been a while since I posted, but I'm hoping you can help me! I'm desperate to lose some of the extra weight I put on this year. I was hoping to have slimmed down a bit before Christmas, but I'm accepting that there's not much I can do to acheive that at this point. So 2018 is going to be a fresh start for me! I'm already counting calories with Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com and I've just started a free trial for Beachbody's P90X3 program: Online Workouts – Stream Free Workout Videos Online - Beachbody.com. I've cut out all of my sugary drinks and junk and replaced them with water too!
Any other advice for me?

Small plate is my tip.
My plate is really a ‘ breakfast plate ‘ ( in law family are from the Potts - this is the real name it seems for a plate bigger than a cake plate and not as big as a dinner plate).
It looks loaded...but it’s small so I eat less. All psychological.

I have Poole Pottery breakfast plates as well as side plates and dinner plates - my son in law only has a small appetite (suffers with IBs & anxiety) so when I dish up his meals I put it on the breakfast places so it doesn't look as lost as it would on dinner plates.

I did buy Davina's book "5 weeks to sugar free" and managed to lose 10 lbs last year - I also managed to visualise each chunk of chocolate as a lump of lard as that is what it looks like in my thighs - unfortunately I no longer find this repulsive and have started eating sweets and chocolate again and put all the weight back on!
