On my own, I know the plan well enough to do it at home but others I know say going to class is beneficial too. Whatever is best for you

Think I have joined in with you tradition every year since I was a member so why break habits now

I have reservations about joining slimming world as some of the stuff they add to recipes makes me shudder. I dont know if i can get over this

Ahh yes, I do believe those recipies are about. I don't do them though, I just stick to normal healthy family meals that don't need faffing with or weird extras

I'll join you again Angel, how many years have we been doing this now?

I've made a start and cancelled my WW membership that I had and wasn't using so have wasted at least £200 by not going as I was on the monthly pass And I am going to SW on Thursdays instead, I have a fellow minder going and then we are going to Cafe Kids after so we will support each other

I have been careful what I've eaten today, although Saturday is going to be different as we are having a meal for my birthday but I am determined this time

    Good luck everyone

FussyElmo I don't and wouldn't eat smash but we have used quark for a dip recipe and it's ok, I don't like pretend foods like smash but maybe they work in the recipes. I wouldn't have thought you needed to eat things like that, there's plenty of other food to choose from

i'm with you. I lost all mine through - going natural. the only thing I cut out or reduced was anything 'made up' so bread/pasta, salad dressing, dips etc and things which they are made of grains (cereal, corn, peas). Ate natural, meat, eggs, veg, salads and fruits - limited dairy and limited sweets (cheated on wine )

no calorie counting, no portion restriction (well hand-sized piece of meat/fish was only restriction)

worked a treat. It's basically caveman eating. Was NEVER hungry

I am on sw too and losing really slowly but that's ok for me.
My trouble is I can't stand image therapy and hearing every member being asked if they're happy with their weight loss and what they wanna lose next week. I find it incredibly boring and a waste of my time. At ww we talked about different products and tips and it was much better.
I prefer this diet tho so may start just weighing in and giving image therapy a miss
