Landlord permission

I emailed my landlord asking for his permission to childmind, to which he has replied (also discussing other matters) but the key part is he wrote "Of course, I will be pleased if you want to do a little child-minding at your flat" .... now will the fact he wrote "little" make any difference to Ofsted? Has he given me permission or not

I hope so, I think he is hinting that I don't have hoards and hoards of children swinging from the rafters lol! Which isn't my intention and wouldn't be allowed in my numbers anyway
Why could he have not just said "yes" like a normal person?
