CRB Delays

Thank you to everyone who has posted on my thread.

I had lost heart a little because of the amount of time taken. But hopefully now my certificate will arrive in the next week or so I can get motivated again. I will be avidly reading all the posts on this forum getting advice and ideas. So hopefully I will be posting more on the forum.

Hi hope you have received your CRB by now, however i have waited over 4 months and apparently it could take over 7 months to get cleared. They don't tell you that when you start. I am having to call it a day and put my little boy into nursery so i can get a job. Good luck everyone whos waiting.

our CRB forms have just been recieved by crb, got our referance numbers, so will keep tracking.

preparied for a long wait!!!!

hello

can't belive it mine is at level 4 already

they only recieved 22/10/08

now hubbies is a different matter that is still at level 2!!

we shall be patient

me and hubbys was done within 2-3 weeks it can happen

i rang the crb and was told they currently have a 2 week wait, and my crb for my job that i have now was done in september this year and took just over a week (cos i've been a good girl

)
just hope this one goes as quick!

Im still awaiting my CRB- i had one just before i got married and because my name is different i need a new one and that was only 6 mths after married.
Its now on the last stage with the police and its been with them for a long time. 7 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called today and asked about my hubbies they said they have no record of him. soi i rang Ofsted not happy and the lady was lovely she traced my hubbies. something not right there with the crb place. Im def not happy/. I call them every other day. Iv had so many done before and iots never taken so long
