I did my Diploma In Home-based Childcare at a college and wouldn't of enjoyed or got as much out of it online. But for something like Food Hygiene, which I did online, it was fine.

On line - you get I think 5 goes at passing - You can have it all done and dusted within a hour

Depends what for. Online food hygiene was great but I'm doing the cypw3 online with nec and wish I had done a college based course :s

i've just done my safeguarding online, and that was fine. i don't want to have to talk about it with anyone.

food hygiene again, i would do online as not bothered about hearing about others experiences/ideas

but for any other course i would always choose a classroom setting. you learn as much from each other as the tutor, you can also ask the tutor anything you are not sure about. (plus helps you to meet more people! )

I've done food hygiene and safeguarding on line which was fine.
But really enjoyed human contacct for let's interact, CYPW diploma, talkingmatters etc. but, mainly for the chance to chat with other CM's and swap ideas, also made some good friends on a few of the courses
