    Default EYFS Pack HELP!!!

    Hi All

I have just started my Council sessions (feeling very excited about everything at the mo ) & have been told that it is essential that I have the EYFS pack which is no longer given out as I believe the new one will be issued in September.
I know i can download this & print it myself but before i start that very long job has anyone any ideas where i could get hold of a pack? Im not sure my printer would cope with such a large job haha!!!
I have looked on ebay & they are selling for ridiculous amounts.

Thanks in advance for any replies

    Paula xx

Unless your development officer has a spare copy or you can beg one from an existing childminder then the only options are ebay or printing it off yourself

I got mine off ebay for £6. I heard the new EYFS training and distributions are taking place in may/june ready for the new school year in sept, not 100% sure about the dates though as that was what i was told by another childminder.

I had to print mine off which wasn't that bad really. I did as if there we're any spare ones but no one had one.

I had the same problem so had to print off and download as at least that was free instead of buying from ebay.

Do you know anyone that works in a childcare setting that you could borrow from?

My sister works in a nursery, they had 4 or 5 copies, and they allowed me to use one whilst I did the course

I only downloaded it, I've never printed it off. I also have a copy on my data stick, so I have it to refer to when needed.

Since it's been under review and is due to be changed anyway, I'm not sure it's worth having a hard copy at the moment.

I have a hard copy from years ago but mainly just copy and paste what I need from the downloaded one

If I need to print anything for reference, e.g. to sit and read at leisure rather than at computer, I copy and paste into word what I need then print off, saves on ink aswell.

I'm in same boat as you..i started back to childminding in august after a 4 year maternity leave and there were no copys available.got a copy on my pc but never got the cards or disk that goes with it.I borrowed a copy off my daughters friend who is doing placement at a nursery.I got a book from NCMA which is a guide to EYFS and that was helpful.
